I've been working on this illustration for the past week or so. I wanted it finished in time for Easter, but obviously that didn't happen. I still feel like the piece presents spring well though, because spring is recognized as at time of new life and rebirth.

Inked and adding first layer of marker.
Skin colored with marker and then colored with colored pencil.
(I repeat this process throughout the entire illustration.)
Hair, eyes, and shirt colored.

Some base markers for the flowers.
More marker colors and colored pencil added to flowers.
